Mulda

The municipality of Mulda is a livable and family-friendly municipality with approx. 2475 inhabitants who live in the three districts of Mulda, Helbigsdorf and Zethau. Mulda is located in the beautiful valley of the Freiberger Mulde, which meanders through the town.

Active in nature

Small place perfect for being active in nature, from hiking to cycling to swimming, everything is offered here. The Freiberger Mulde meanders through the village, and the Mulderadweg runs parallel to it. The block line also runs through the town. If you start sweating from cycling and need to cool off, you can make a detour to the outdoor pool directly from the bike path before continuing.

Summer sun beach? Ok, unfortunately we don't have a beach. But a great leisure pool for the whole family ! The adventure pool in Mulda offers you cool refreshment and lots of water fun in summer, with a large slide, diving pool, a flow channel and much more!

Technisches Denkmal Brettmühle

Die Brettschneide- und Lohmühle Mulda wurde bis 1972 als Sägewerk betrieben. Heute dient sie als Zeitzeuge der Industrialisierung im Erzgebirge. Die Anlagen sind funktionsfähig.

Museum

Flachsmuseum Zethau

In Zethau hat der Flachsanbau und seine Verarbeitung eine lange Tradition. In diesem Museum könnt ihr selbst aktiv werden und experimentieren. Gezeigt wird der gesamte Prozess der Flachsverarbeitung, vom Anbau der Flachspflanze bis zum Weben der Textilien.
